Hypnosis is very widely misunderstood
even by some professionals.

The biggest obstacle in choosing to use
hypnosis and hypnotherapy is the lack
of real understanding, which creates
fear and doubt.

About Lynn Ralston, R.N., CHt

Lynn is a certified hypnotherapist and a registered nurse.  Having grown up mostly in Harrisburg, and studying at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, she came to the State College area in 1976.  She has worked independently as an entrepreneur for 36 years, and among many things has provided hypnotherapy services through Changes Hypnotherapy with locations in Spring Mills, Harrisburg, New Cumberland and now here.  She is registered with the National Association of Transpersonal Hypnotherapists, where she completed her studies and certification with Dr. Allen Chips.  Lynn is also a nurse case manager with Ralston Case Management Services.

Lynn has found that the use of hypnotherapy for health is seemingly endless and continuously successful and rewarding.  She has made a career of helping people heal, solve problems and live with healthy attitudes.  She credits Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of Love, Medicine and Miracles, for sparking her interest in visualization, hypnosis and self-healing.  Lynn met Dr. Siegel in the 1980’s and remembers his words: “There is no such thing as an incurable disease, only incurable people”.  These words triggered years of study and exploration of the relationship of mind, body and soul, hypnosis, visualization and even near-death experiences.  Lynn’s practice is driven by the success stories told by her patients, by her experiences as a nurse and by personal experiences.
